Ed Parker, AIA

Principal

As a Principal of 1100 Architect, Ed Parker, AIA, has designed and managed projects spanning a wide range of scale, typology, and complexity. From award-winning residences to Ivy League academic buildings to LEED Gold certified office interiors, Ed embodies the ethos of 1100 Architect in his work.

Having contributed to myriad projects over roughly two decades with 1100, Ed has helped shape the practice and output with contributions that are distinct yet integral to the office portfolio. The blend of practice and living have been a source of great interest and focus for Ed, who has developed an expertise in both residential and workplace architecture. As a flexible and thoughtful designer, Ed naturally enjoys developing close relationships with clients to collaboratively deliver well-tailored, unique spaces.

Ed received his Bachelor of Architecture with Honors from Carnegie Mellon University in 2003. He received additional instruction in architectural and landscape design at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ), studying with the notable professors Christophe Girot, Greg Lynn, Roger Diener, Marcel Meili, Jacques Herzog & Pierre de Meuron. Ed is licensed to practice architecture in his native Pennsylvania as well as his adoptive home of New York and is a member of the American Institute of Architects.
