Dwight Clark, RA

Associate Principal

As an Associate Principal of 1100, Dwight Clark has focused on government sector business, including numerous Department of State projects and projects of significant scale, which involved integration of engineered systems that require broad planning down to elevated, technical detail.

Through his career, Dwight has worked on more than one hundred federal projects and facilities on six continents, involving high levels of physical and technical security and complex programs. His nearly three decades of work specifically on diplomatic facilities, including years spent on the direct construction of the projects, has instilled an in-depth knowledge of the extensive architectural and engineering standards, requirements, and processes involved in the design and construction of secure federal facilities, for both new construction and major renovation projects.

Dwight takes pride in directing organized teams, working together to produce well-coordinated project documentation that moves projects smoothly from pre-design and procurement through to construction completion and occupancy. Dwight holds a Master of Architecture from the Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh. He is a licensed architect in Washington, D.C.
