Westend Office

1100 Architect transformed a 19th-century heritage-listed villa in Frankfurt’s Westend into the European headquarters of an international real estate firm. Across four levels, the design integrates private offices, conference rooms, and open work areas within the villa’s classical framework. The interiors are characterized by clean white walls, full-height doors, and concealed systems that establish a gallery-like setting for the firm’s art collection. A historic spiral staircase was reimagined as a sculptural centerpiece, featuring a plaster-encased balustrade and leather-topped treads. Carefully coordinated detailing respects the building’s original fabric while introducing high-performance systems.
