Ruttkowski;68 Gallery
1100 Architect designed the first U.S. location for contemporary art gallery Ruttkowski;68, establishing its presence in Tribeca’s Cortlandt Alley. The space offers a clean, flexible backdrop for diverse exhibitions spanning sculpture, painting, installation, and video art. Designed to accommodate shifting curatorial needs, the gallery supports both solo and group shows with minimal spatial intervention. The project contributes to the neighborhood’s expanding gallery scene while connecting to Ruttkowski;68’s international locations in Cologne, Paris, and Düsseldorf. A restrained material palette and strategic lighting ensure that the art remains the focus. The design reflects the gallery’s commitment to experimentation and global dialogue.
