Groundbreaking for Roof Renovation at the Hessian State Chancellery
The German state of Hesse selected 1100 Architect to renovate the roof of its State Chancellery, the 19th century structure that functions as the political and administrative center for Hesse’s Prime Minister. The project will make needed structural upgrades to the roof while preserving the building’s historic character. Earlier this year, 1100 Architect broke ground on the renovation, launching a 10-month construction period. The Chancellery, a 21,000 square foot building home to over 200 employees, will remain operational throughout construction.
