1100 Architect renovates CAMBA’s Lobby for AIANY Day of Service
For this year’s annual AIA New York Day of Service, 1100 Architect worked with CAMBA, a Brooklyn-based non-profit that provides social services to New Yorkers in need, renovating the organization’s outdated lobby and designing a new reception desk for it. Led by 1100 Architect designers Daniel Aronberg and Harris Mazur, volunteers replaced the lobby’s aging floors and added new vinyl graphics to the walls. Later in the day, the team led a charette with CAMBA staff to produce a desk design to be realized in October 2018, completing what amounts to a full renovation of the space.
