Riverside Health Center a Finalist in the Energy Efficiency Award Challenge
1100 Architect’s Riverside Health Center was selected as a finalist in the annual Energy Efficiency Award Challenge, a program hosted by the German American Chamber of Congress that recognizes German innovation in sustainability. For the project, 1100 Architect transformed a dilapidated and inefficient mid-century clinic into a vibrant and highly-sustainable community anchor. The LEED Gold-certified renovation introduces several sustainability measures, including a green roof and high-performance insulated glazing, ultimately resulting in a 26.5% reduction in energy costs.
