Perry World House Featured in Architect Magazine

Architect Magazine featured Perry World House, in an article by critic Thomas de Monchaux. In his review, de Monchaux explores how 1100 Architect transformed a 19th-century cottage into a new hub for global initiatives at the University of Pennsylvania. As he puts it, “by transcending the cheap thrill of mere demolition, by thoughtfully choreographing moments of encounter and exchange, and by locating new conceptual spaces between restoration and innovation, adaptation and invention, this new-and-old building embodies the international and interdisciplinary practices of the scholars it shelters.”
