Fashionhaus Showroom

New York, NY

2003

Housed in a converted warehouse building in midtown Manhattan, Fashionhaus is a 3,500-square-foot showroom for a number of European fashion labels. This flexible and open loft environment features custom-designed furniture and display fixtures, including ebonized-maple tables, modular stainless-steel racks, and inset wooden shelving. An undulating, freestanding, wood-slat screen suggests a sense of entry yet maintains the openness and scale of the space. The floor is white poured-resin concrete; on the ceiling, adjustable layered fluorescent strips and spotlights bathe the space in clean, crisp light.
