The University of Pennsylvania’s alumni magazine, The Pennsylvania Gazette, featured Perry World House as its cover feature story in its November/December 2016 issue. Calling attention to its “interconnected volumes of space,” writer Trey Popp emphasizes the way the building allows for cross-disciplinary dialogue. Opened in September 2016, Perry World House now serves as the university’s hub for global research, to be shared by each of Penn’s 12 schools. As the university’s vice provost for global initiatives Ezekiel Emmanuel puts it in the article, the new space will give “more coherence and centrality to our global activities at Penn.”
