Curbed recognized 1100 Architect’s Perry World House as one of Philadelphia’s best new architecture. The building, which opened September 2016, and which serves as the University of Pennsylvania’s new hub for global engagement, was cited as the “most interesting take on preservation” in 2016. For the project, 1100 Architect restored a portion of an 1851 cottage and incorporated it into the design of the new building.
