On Thursday, February 11th, 1100 Founding Principal Juergen Riehm, FAIA, BDA spoke at Emerging Voices at Parsons SCE: Transforming Models and Practices. The event—hosted by Parsons School of Constructed Environments and The Architectural League—invited a select group of design professionals featured in 30 Years of Emerging Voices: Idea, Form, Resonance to discuss recent work and a cross-disciplinary approach to design.
Juergen discussed the recently completed Main: East Side Lofts and connected the project’s presence in Frankfurt to 1100 Architect’s growth as an international practice. In particular, he emphasized the importance of global exchange between 1100’s New York and Frankfurt offices in creating distinctive design solutions.
