Queens Central Library Children’s Library Discovery Center is featured in the November/December 2014 issue of Design Bureau Magazine.

The article explores the building’s “luminous, Mondrian-like” façade and highlights the CLDC’s role as a beacon of knowledge in the community. “The CLDC is visited daily by so many children and their caregivers, as well as public school using it as a classroom extension for the science and math curriculum,” explains 1100 Principal Juergen Riehm. “The community’s all-out positive response to the project makes us most proud.”
