1100 Architect and the Center for Architecture Design Treehouses with Camp Win
1100 Architect and the Center for Architecture teamed with Win–the largest provider of shelter and supportive housing for homeless families in New York City–to design and build model-sized treehouses with students in the Camp Win program. This learning exercise used architecture as a way to engage hands-on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) education. Camp Win is a free, 10-week program serving more than 700 homeless children throughout the summer months.
